Overview
John Savage (of 'The Deer Hunter' and 'Carnivàle') stars as Charles Heller, a mild-mannered code specialist at the Washington D.C. headquarters of the CIA. But when his fiancée is executed during a Munich terrorist attack, Heller blackmails The Agency into training him as a killer and smuggling him into Communist Czechoslovakia. His mission: To track down and personally assassinate the three terrorist who murdered the woman he loved. Now Charles is stunned to discover that he's been betrayed and targeted by his own side. And in a world of professional assassins, the most dangerous man of all is 'The Amateur'.

Christopher Plummer ('National Treasure'), Marthe Keller ('Marathon Man'), John Marley ('The Godfather') and Ed Lauter ('Death Hunt') co-star in this acclaimed suspense thriller nominated for 10 Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress and Best Adapted Screenplay.
